JD power released their 2010 survey of passenger spending at airports . They found that a high level of service at an airport has a strong impact on the consuinmers retail spending at the airport. Delighted passengers spent approximately 45% more than disappointed passengers.
This is good news for Tampa international Airport. In 2010 Tampa international Airport ranked third amongst midsized airports, behind Kansas City and Portland International according to the JD power survey entitled North America Airport Satisfaction Study.
